Cancellation Policy

Enjoy free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time. Paramotoring is highly dependent on weather conditions, particularly wind speed. For safety reasons, we do not fly with winds exceeding 8 mph.

What You’ll Do

Welcome to an unforgettable flight lesson for beginners in a tandem GRAZHopper Trike from Airparamo, based at Ak Chin Regional Airport in Maricopa, Arizona.

Soar over stunning Arizona landscapes, including farm fields, desert terrain, and mountain views.
Experience an open-cockpit flight with a one-on-one lesson.
Begin with a pre-flight inspection and an overview of the trike’s design, controls, and radio communication.
Choose between a smooth, level flight or energetic maneuvers for a thrilling ride.
Take the controls yourself under guided instruction.

The flight time is approximately 20 minutes, with the entire experience lasting approximately 1 hour.

Prepare for Your Flight

Dress Code & Safety Tips

Secure Long Hair: As the pilot sits directly behind the passenger, loose hair can obstruct visibility and interfere with controls due to wind turbulence. Please tie it back in a ponytail or secure it appropriately.
Avoid Loose Accessories: Scarves, dangling jewelry, or anything that can flap in the wind pose a risk of entanglement. Leave them behind or secure them tightly.
Wear Sunglasses: Since most flights take place around sunrise or sunset when the sun is low in the sky, wearing high-quality sunglasses improves visibility, enhances your enjoyment of the flight, and helps protect your eyes from wind exposure.
Gloves for Grip & Warmth: Lightweight gloves help reduce wind chill and ensure a comfortable, secure grip when boarding or adjusting harnesses.
Appropriate Clothing: We strongly recommend wearing long pants for protection.
Footwear: Running or hiking shoes provide the best stability for boarding and exiting the trike.
Secure Personal Items: Phones, cameras, or GoPros must be mounted or securely tethered. Loose items can fall and become unrecoverable during flight.
Weather Consideration: In-flight temperatures can drop by 10°F, and the wind chill can make conditions feel cooler. Dress accordingly for comfort.

Waiver Requirement

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all participants must complete a Hold Harmless Agreement before flying. Please follow these steps to prepare:

Download the Waiver: Access the Passenger Waiver and Release of Liability form.
Print the Form: Print a physical copy of the waiver to bring with you to the flight.
Sign the Waiver: Read and sign the form in advance to streamline your check-in process at Ak-Chin Regional Airport.

Having the signed waiver ready upon arrival helps us focus on getting you ready for your adventure!

Hi, I’m Francois, your expert guide to the skies with over a decade of aviation experience and a passion for sharing the thrill of paramotoring!

Earned my Private Pilot License (PPL) at just 15 years old.
Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering.
Transport Canada Certified Flight Instructor (Class III).
Airline Pilot with three years of commercial flying experience.
Flying paramotors since 2017.
Active member of the United States Powered Paragliding Association (USPPA).
Certified Flight Instructor through the Aero Sports Connection (ASC), a recognized ultralight training organization operating under FAA Part 103 guidelines.
